Our mission	Covenant House California is dedicated to serving all God’s children, with absolute respect and unconditional love, to help youth experiencing homelessness, and to protect and safeguard all youth in need.

Opportunities	Workshop Leader Are you an artist or a writer? Interested in current events or cooking? Do you enjoy hiking, yoga, reading? Are you good at budgeting or conflict resolution? Come share your interests & skills with our youth which give our clients exposure to new activities & ideas while connecting them with more role models in the community. One-time, Occasional Teens, 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor, Outdoor Skilled Weekdays, Weekends Company Partner At CHC, we recognize that successful partnerships don’t generally fit a one size fits all model. We’d love to learn about the needs of your organization, and create a partnership that is meaningful, rewarding and sustainable for all involved. We can work with you to engage your employees in multiple ways including (but not limited to): volunteerism, service projects, supply drives, in-kind donations, cause-related marketing, employee giving, job creation, special event participation, sponsorship and programmatic investments. One-time, Occasional, Weekly, Monthly Teens, 21+, 55+, Adults Groups (2-10), Groups (10+), Corporate Teams Physical, Office work, Event support, Indoor, Outdoor On-site, Skilled Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Board Associate Volunteers ages 25–40 years old may wish to consider joining our Associate Board for Young Professionals! Covenant House California’s Associate Board is made up of young, compassionate, and philanthropic professionals, ages 25-40, with a desire to end youth homelessness and trafficking in the L.A. region. Members focus efforts in three major ares: fundraising, social advocacy, and service. Raise $1,000 annually. This can be done in multiple ways, including: Young Professionals Sleep Out, personal donations, company match donations, support of CHC’s fundraisers, etc. Participate in CHC’s Annual “Young Professionals Sleep Out” Attend 3 out of 4 Associate Board meetings per year (conferencing in to a meeting counts as attendance) Participate in 6 hours of service events Through volunteering, service, and fundraising efforts, the Associate Board empowers our youth by serving as advocates and embracing the mission of CHC. How you help	In the last 12 months, nearly 4,000 volunteers donated their time, talent, and a piece of their heart to serve our young people at Covenant House California. These amazing individuals and groups show our young people that there are adults in this world that truly do care for them. By assisting the professional staff and offering essential services to our young people, volunteers play a critical role in Covenant House California’s success. It is only with the support of our community that we can offer so many opportunities for healing and growth to our young people.

About us	Covenant House California (CHC) is a non-profit youth homeless shelter that provides sanctuary and support for homeless and trafficked youth, ages 18-24. We believe that no young person deserves to be homeless; that every young person in California deserves shelter, food, clothing, education … and most importantly, to be loved. Now serving over 4,700 youth a year, CHC provides a full continuum of services to meet the physical, emotional, educational, vocational, and spiritual well-being of young people, in order to provide them with the best chance for success in independence.
