American Cetacean Society – Whale Census Suspension

We know it was a hard choice to shut the gray whale census down early this season, but we are so grateful for the work you and all the amazing volunteers have put in this year (and the many years before) to monitor the grey whale migration. Excellent data has been collected and we know you’d be out there, rain or shine, if possible.

Thank you for making the hard call that needed to made! And thank you to all of our followers who are making sacrifices to keep their communities healthy and safe during this unpredictable time.
