We want kids to have fun doing what they love to do such as art. music and sports, while learning some science. SIE's goal is to reach those kids that don't yet know that they like science. While we are thrilled to have high school students helping out, and welcome their participation, many of our workshops occur during the school day, when they are not available. SIE is seeking professionals with some time during the day. Retirees or near-retirees would be fantastic, particularly those with a science or engineering background. The workshops will occur the week of August 4-8 at Sola Foundation, the Beehive, in Los Angeles.
