COVID-19 Update
During these unprecedented times, we want you to know that you are on our minds. When news of COVID-19 began dominating the airwaves, we put on hold all Conservancy events and programs until they are deemed safe.
Quickly, we ramped up our ability to work from home and pivoted—just in the nick of time, too! Safer at Home orders were announced soon thereafter.
Since then, the Conservancy team—your team—has been hard at work from home. Our advocacy and community work remain constant, as we maintain a vigilant eye on threatened historic sites and persist with efforts to preserve them. As you’ll read on our latest blog post, we’re still saving places!
We continue to advance multiple Historic-Cultural Monument nominations, and are reimagining and developing new programs you can access online. If we can’t take you through L.A.’s historic neighborhoods, we’re bringing L.A. to you!
Starting in April, and until things return to normal, we are consolidating our E-News and Events email newsletters into a single special edition series called Explore L.A. @ Home.
Every other week, we’ll keep you posted on Conservancy news and programs, and send you curated content and stories that strengthen our shared passion for L.A.’s heritage and community.
You can also check this website follow the Conservancy social media for the latest updates on the return of our events, tours, and programs.
Our efforts to preserve historic Los Angeles continue undeterred with staff doing most of our work from home through email and phone. For now, the best way to contact us will be by email. Click here for the Conservancy Staff Directory.
Please stay well.
