COVID-19 UPDATE FROM THE LOS ANGELES REGIONAL FOOD BANK

The Food Bank will continue to mobilize of resources to help people who are in need of food assistance. If you are in need of food assistance, please dial 211 or visit our pantry locator. The Food Bank does not provide meals at our warehouse facilities.

Food Bank operations are continuing with no major impact on our staff and facilities. Volunteer activity has declined, but we are currently able to meet the current demand for food assistance. We have started to implement our contingency plan to supplement our regular Food Bank staff and volunteer workforce with temporary employees.

We are experiencing some disruption in food donations from our regular food industry donors and are supplementing donated food with food purchases of specific items. The Food Bank is monitoring the situation closely and taking necessary precautions to help make sure that food and product remain safe, and that our distributions and volunteer activities can continue.
