Connected to Organization --- not set --- Opportunity Title Description WHAT: Make and drop off sack lunches for people experiencing homelessness near the Midnight Mission. VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITIES: In compliance with social distancing protocols, you'll make 10+ sack lunches at home and then drop them off at the mission between 7 am and 11 am. (You can drop off later than 11 am, but meals will be given out the next day.) You won't be in contact with anyone but can still have a powerful impact. REQUIREMENTS: Sack lunches should consist of... Ham, turkey, or beef sandwich with light mayo/mustard (To be cautious of nut allergies, we request no peanut butter and jelly sandwiches please) 2+ side snacks (chips, fruit, granola bars, cheese, etc) No need to include beverages or napkins (those are covered by the Mission) REQUIREMENTS TO VOLUNTEER DURING COVID-19: You must not been or felt sick in the last 2 weeks not been around anyone who has been or felt sick in the last 2 weeks bring your own mask if possible, bring your own hand sanitizer SPECIAL SAFETY PROCEDURES DURING COVID-19: All volunteers must wear masks at all times. You must wash your hands at the beginning and end of the volunteer activity, and any time after touching your face. Physical contact is to be avoided and 6-foot distancing will be required. Please avoid touching your face, eyes, nose, or mouth. Wash your hands immediately if you do so. Practice good coughing/sneezing etiquette.
