Connected to Organization --- not set --- Opportunity Title Description The Koreatown Youth and Community Center was established in 1975 to support a growing population of at-risk youth in Los Angeles. Today, KYCC is the leading multiservice organization in Koreatown, supporting children and their families in the areas of education, health, housing, and finances. Most of the clients served are first generation immigrants from Asia and Latin America. Committed to serving the diverse population of Koreatown, we offer all programs in Spanish, Korean and English. KYCC is seeking the support of volunteer instructors with a professional background in money management to support our community members on the road to financial self-empowerment. KYCC provides all training and curricula on topics including Money Management, Credit History & Scores, Credit Cards, Setting Goals and Action Plans, Debt Management, Investing, First Time Homebuyers, Small Business, and more. Korean or Spanish bilingual is helpful, but certainly not required. Volunteers must be 21 or older with a bachelors degree. This is a CRA-approved activity.
