Connected to Organization --- not set --- Opportunity Title Description The Koreatown Youth and Community Center was established in 1975 to support a growing population of at-risk youth in Los Angeles. Today, KYCC is the leading multiservice organization in Koreatown, supporting children and their families in the areas of education, health, housing, and finances. Most of the clients served are first generation immigrants from Asia and Latin America. Committed to serving the diverse population of Koreatown, we offer all programs in Spanish, Korean and English. With just 30 minutes of your time, you can save a family hundreds of dollars in tax preparation fees and bring them thousands back in tax returns. KYCC's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is one of our most popular volunteer opportunities and last year our team completed 12,000 tax returns for low-income families with a team of hundreds of people just like you. To learn more, you’re welcome to start by viewing our two-minute VITA program introduction video or full-length 25-minute orientation video. If everything sounds good and you just want to get started you’re welcome to get started with certification or reach out to us and we'll help walk you through the process.  Thank you for reading and we're excited to hear from you!
