Resource Room Sorter

Description

Chrysalis serves people navigating barriers to the workforce by offering a job-readiness program, individualized supportive services, and paid transitional employment. We empower our clients on their pathway to stability, security, and fulfillment in their work and lives. Volunteers may work at any of our four Southern California locations.

The Resource Room Sorter Volunteer will:
<ul>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400">Assist assigned Chrysalis site with sorting clothing donations </li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400">Collaborate with Chrysalis staff to keep the resource room (closet) clean and organized for clients </li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400">Notify assigned Volunteer & Program Coordinator when closet inventory is low or items need to be replaced</li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400">Help style clients for interviews, as well as pick out clothing and accessories  </li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400">Communicate with assigned Volunteer & Program Coordinator after shift(s), in the case of any client issues, changes in volunteer schedule, etc. </li>
</ul>

Qualifications & Requirements:
<ol>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400">Highly motivated by Chrysalis’ mission and desire to improve social and economic
fabric of our community</li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400">Be at least 18+ years </li>

 	<li style="font-weight: 400">Be willing to work respectfully with people of all cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds </li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400">Honor confidentiality of client records and sign volunteer handbook and agreement  </li>
