University Teacher (Mission Hills)

Description

This volunteer position assists with basic husbandry, feeding, and organizing.  Teachers also help us organize, clean, do laundry, and restock - all the tasks necessary to keep our University location looking great!

Age Requirement: We accept volunteers 18 years or older or students 12-17 years of age with an accompanying adult.  Parent/child teams are required to stay together at all times.

Dress Code: Kitty Bungalow shirt, long pants, and closed-toe shoes.

Time Commitment:

 	<li style="font-weight: 400">One weekly shift (same day, same time) for a minimum of 6 months. See General Shift Hours below for information on shift days and times.</li>
</ul>
Daily Shift Hours:

*Please note, this is only a schedule meant to give you insight on our shift schedule.  Some shifts are not available as they already have volunteer coverage.*
<ul>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400">Breakfast: 9:00am-11:30am</li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400">Mid-Day: 11:30am-1:30pm</li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400">Mid-Day 2: 1:30pm-3:30pm</li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400">Dinner: 3:30pm-6:00pm</li>

Steps to Becoming a University School Teacher:
<ol>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400">Attend general Kitty Bungalow Orientation (1 hour)</li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400">Two Training Shifts (2.5 hours each)</li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400">That’s it!</li>
