Connected to Organization --- not set --- Opportunity Title Description SAF: Service to the Armed Forces - Hero Care Regional Caseworker/Critical Community Services When a Veteran is experiencing hardship, they can call our Hero Care Network and open a critical community services case. The case will then be dispatched to the local region where a critical community services casework volunteer will interview the Veteran to acquire as much information as needed to best ensure appropriate referrals can be made and follow up with the Veteran periodically to check in on referrals and developing needs. Volunteers will have access to a resource database to better provide vetted referrals.
