Connected to Organization --- not set --- Opportunity Title Description <h1><b>Your story might be exactly what students need to hear!</b></h1> <span style="font-weight: 400">PLUS ME Project is recruiting virtual volunteer storytellers for our annual <a href="https://www.theplusmeproject.org/wisdom-week">Wisdom Week</a> campaign</span><span style="font-weight: 400">. Our mission is to build self-confidence and connection with youth through personal storytelling. We are looking for people that want to give back to Los Angeles youth by sharing the story of their personal life journeys, struggles, accomplishments, and lessons.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400">During the week of October 23rd - 27th, PLUS ME will place volunteers in </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400">virtual </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400">classrooms to inspire LA youth with their stories. Sessions are scheduled between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm PST. Each volunteer will be able to indicate their availability and preference for that week. </span> <span style="font-weight: 400">All volunteers </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400">must </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400">attend a virtual onboarding session where they will learn more about PLUS ME, meet fellow volunteers, and receive guidance on building their stories. Each new volunteer is also invited to fundraise for PLUS ME using tools provided by our team.
