Donate Books to the Prison Library Project

We always welcome book donations and can accept books any time during regular business hours. Newer books in good condition are always appreciated. Read below to learn more about what books are most helpful to the project.

Donated books can be sold to raise funds for the PLP or mailed to inmates. Want to really help? Consider donating $20 with your book donation. Those funds can be put toward much needed postage expenses.

TO DONATE BOOKS TO THE PLP:

Books should be paperbacks in good condition, free of writing or highlighting. CDs, spiral bound books or books with other inserts cannot be sent to prisons. Recent titles are always appreciated. Books that include pictures of graphic violence, nudity or drug use will not be sent.
