So Cal Fire Relief

At IBTU, we’re working tirelessly to provide relief—but we can’t do it without you. Your time, energy, and compassion can make a profound difference during this critical time. General Volunteers: Assist with sorting donations, organizing supplies, and other hands-on tasks to keep operations running smoothly. Drivers: Deliver essential supplies to impacted areas. (Drivers must bring a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance for their vehicle.) By volunteering, you are more than just a helping hand—you are a lifeline to communities in distress. Whether you’re delivering supplies to families, organizing donations, or coordinating communication, you are directly helping rebuild lives in the aftermath of these devastating fires.

How you help

Because of volunteers like you, we served over 30,000 individuals in 2022, allowing these underserved communities to improve and experience the better life they deserve. We believe our organization will always be rooted in community organizing and work to unite and mobilize stakeholders in these disadvantaged communities.

About us

Founded in 2020, IBTU was born out of a vision to address the pressing challenges of poverty and discrimination in South Los Angeles. What started as a community-driven response has evolved into a robust platform for sustainable change. We work hand-in-hand with low-income youth and families, offering essential resources and support through our food and resource distribution programs, education initiatives, and community-building events.
