About us | The Academy of Scoring Arts was founded in 2009 by legendary composer, orchestrator, and arranger Ron Jones. What began in 2009 as an informal study of classic scores among Ron’s friends and peers turned into the Ravel Orchestration Study, and then the non-profit Academy of Scoring Arts. The ASA has since grown to encompass multiple studies, professional studies, and meet-ups to help professionals network with each other. We’ve created an opportunity for you to study with modern masters of their crafts. Dive into a decade of score studies, guest interviews, and panel discussions to discover how to take your music to the next level. |
