How you help AMBITION has an expansive network of volunteers, mentors, teachers, business owners, marketers, makers, analysts, writers, etc. who bring their skills, insights, experiences and networks to the table to help prepare the students for opportunities and success.Brainstorming, sharing stories and tips and inspiring the students to expand their horizons — no matter your skills or availability, your time and experiences can benefit our future business leaders.
About us Concerned that students from underserved communities lack the support and resources needed to access consistent mentorship and gain exposure to real-world business experience, AMBITION was founded by luxury handbag owner/designer Nancy Gale of JAMAH, in alignment with her mission to connect cause with commerce.Through a multitude of problem-solving endeavors, the AMBITION journey validates that with determination, self-discipline and hard work, one can live a life without limitations.To anchor its entrepreneurial roots, AMBITION launched its own e-commerce component, The Ultimate Tease (TUT). Grounded in entrepreneurship, AMBITION's curriculum centers on the brand, providing in-depth exposure to numerous aspects of running a business, including strategic planning, project management, conflict resolution, time management, research, consumer demographics, product development, marketing and branding. The students are empowered through team building, interpersonal skills, accountability and healthy competition, cultivating a strong work ethic and consciousness of their surroundings.Collaborative in-class work is supplemented by workshops with expert mentors and visits from high profile, inspirational guest speakers. In addition to scholarships & brand ambassadorships, TUT also awards internships in Marketing & Operations to three to five students each summer, based on successful resume submission, application process and interview(s).AMBITION is committed to encouraging businesses to serve as a training ground for today’s youth and join our ultimate mission of an intrinsic connection between cause and commerce.Together with our mentors and partners, AMBITION is able to bring to life a much-needed resource for building better futures in our community.
