How you help
Angel City Pit Bulls is a foster-based only program and run entirely on the support of donations and volunteers. We always need volunteers, foster homes, blankets, crates, donations, food, etc.
About us
Angel City Pit Bulls was founded in 2010 to address the problem of overpopulation and high euthanasia rate of pit bull terrier type dogs in Los Angeles shelters. ACPB continues to evolve through the efforts of dedicated pit bull owners, educators, rescuers, and supporters working together to respond to the challenges facing pit bulls in our community. As a member of the NKLA Coalition, it is our priority to be an integral part of making Los Angeles no-kill. We believe that Los Angeles City can be a community where no healthy or treatable pet dies for lack of space in the shelter. As we work to achieve this, our efforts center around reducing the number of pit bull terrier type dogs in LA City animal shelters by increasing adoptions, providing community education and support to increase owner retention, and offering targeted spay/neuter programs.
