Since 1936, Assistance League of San Pedro-South Bay, an all volunteer charitable organization, has been devoted to the needs of the children, families and seniors of its community.
The boys and girls of Assisteens focus on Community Service, Leadership, and Teamwork. Assisteens participate in a variety of valuable philanthropic works in the community and, in addition, support the philanthropic projects of the main chapter. Members range from 7th to 12th grade.

Members volunteer time in our philanthropic projects; the Frances J. Johnson Dental Center, Operation School Bell®, Operation Hug, and work in our fundraising projects; postal contract station, gift and consignment shop, plus
other committees and positions of leadership in our organization.
