Earth careConnect to the natural world while beautifying our Intention garden. and assisting with property clean-up tasks. We want to ensure the safety of all of our visitors/animals and require that all volunteers attend a Volunteer Orientation. During the 2 hour orientation, you will become acquainted with our animals and property while learning about the various volunteer duties to be completed. It is required that all volunteers are aged 14 and older due to the nature of the duties needing to be completed.Animal careAnimal care: Assist with our animals daily needs, including tasks such as cleaning pens, grooming, and exercising. | How you help | We are so happy that you are interested in coming to volunteer with us at BIG Heart Ranch. Our volunteer program includes one hour of cleaning and caring for our animals, as well as, an hour of spending quality time with your favorite animals. It is important that we are mindful of our animals basic daily needs and to provide them with a safe and happy environment. So, thank you again for your desire to join us for a hard working, yet fun-filled volunteer session. |

| About us | Since 2006, Big Heart Ranch has been home to hundreds of farm animals and is currently a forever sanctuary to a herd of 77 made of horses, donkeys, chickens, bunnies, goats, pigs, alpacas and deer. They have been loved and cared for by hundreds of volunteers and visitors and, in turn, have provided animal-assisted healing for thousands of underserved families from our Conscious Community. Located along the Pacific Coast Highway below the hills of Malibu, California, Big Heart Ranch welcomes families and individuals from all walks of life regardless of age, origin, race, religion, or resources. Our intention is to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering space for people to disconnect from the unnatural world and reconnect to their natural wisdom so that we may learn to live in harmony with nature and each other. |
