We are looking for dedicated volunteers to be mentors in our substance abuse prevention program, working with at-risk youth ages 10-17 at our Monterey Park and Boyle Heights locations. This is a great opportunity to give back to a population that would greatly benefit from having another trusted and reliable adult in their lives. Meetings are with individual youth, once a week during our after-school program. Training provided!

About us
The Boys & Girls Club of West San Gabriel Valley has been a cornerstone of the community since we first opened our doors in 1972. We provide a safe, structured environment for young people after school, during holidays and on summer vacation. Youth ages 6-17 are encouraged to join and open the door to all of the fun and exciting activities we have to offer. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of our members by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.
