MentorAre you passionate about solving civic and social issues in Los Angeles? Do you want to be part of a growing civic tech ecosystem and contribute to making LA a better place to live? If so, we’re always looking for design mavens, policy wonks, data experts, and other digital wizards to join our community of pro bono enthusiasts and startup mentors. As mentors for our innovation challenge and civic incubator programs, subject matter experts have the opportunity to advise innovators as they develop and launch solutions addressing pressing social and civic issues. |

About us | Civic Innovation Lab leverages tech, data, and design and harnesses the talent of local residents to develop solutions that improve our communities. We strive to engage and amplify local talent in order to address complex civic challenges alongside our government and social venture partners. The Pro Bono Tech program brings together teams of pro bono professionals to build digital solutions and technical capacity for local government and nonprofits. We designed our model to create clear structures of accountability, well-defined scope and key objectives, and a balance of skills and backgrounds - all essential factors in building a successful pro bono team and executing a meaningful digital product. |
