Used Energy Saving Van

We are in need of a used electric or energy saving van to help us pick up additional donations throughout the city. Currently, we have an electric van that carries 4500 pounds that is shared with staff. However, we are at capacity and need an additional vehicle to meet the demand of our donors.

How you helpVolunteer Food Heroes are important because their work stretches the community dollar. Volunteers make it possible for members of the community to have access to healthy food.
About usFoodCycle connects surplus food to hungry people through our food recovery and diversion program. Our team recovers food that would otherwise be thrown away by grocery stores, restaurants, offices and farmers markets and deliver it to organizations who feed the hungry. We use innovative technology to help organizations find free healthy food to provide to their neighbors. The Chow Match App matches donors to volunteers who help us get hungry people fed in Los Angeles.
