Help girls find their inner power and develop confidence and self worth! We are looking for adults with flexible schedules to lead our 8-week program as a Coach - Mentor. NO RUNNING NEEDED! Starting early October to early December, lead lessons on weekdays (afternoon/after school hours), one or two days a week. You will be rewarded when you become a hero and role model to our participants. Have fun watching confidence develop before your eyes!

5K Volunteers
Our end of season 5K provides a tangible sense of accomplishment to participants. To celebrate and make the experience one to remember, there are many opportunities to get involved. Tasks include: Check-In / Registration;
Activity Stations;
Start / Finish Line Support;
Water Stop; and
Running Buddy, where we invite family members and/or trusted friends to run alongside participants.

About us
Girls on the Run has fun, evidence-based programs that inspire all girls to build their confidence, kindness and decision making skills. Dynamic lessons instill valuable life skills including the important connection between physical and emotional health. At Girls on the Run Los Angeles County, teaching critical life skills is the cornerstone of our research-based programs. Meeting in small teams, trained volunteer coaches inspire team members with and without disabilities to strengthen confidence and other important life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and physical activity.
