Our mission	The mission of Glendale Arts is to integrate the arts into the identity, growth and economic vitality of the City of Glendale by presenting programming and creating partnerships that benefit youth, patrons, artists, organizations and businesses in the community and at the Alex Theatre.

Opportunities	Community Volunteers Play a critical role for the arts in your community. When you volunteer for Glendale Arts Special Events, you will be ready to assist, engage, and have fun with local artists and members of the community. Occasional, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Indoor, Outdoor On-site, Formal Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Alex Theatre Ambassadors Do you love the beautiful and historic Alex Theatre? Becoming an Alex Theatre Ambassador, you will work closely with the House Management. While volunteering at the Alex, you will greet patrons, take tickets, usher the guests to their seats, and address any other event needs. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly Teens, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Formal Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Alex Theatre Backstage Tour Volunteers Volunteers will learn, in depth, about the Alex Theatre’s history. You will guide tour groups throughout the Alex exploring the architecture and history. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Formal Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends
