Our mission	We believe families with a critically-ill child should not have to lose their job, health, home or enter into bankruptcy to care for their child during a medical crisis. To help mitigate this, we mobilize people and resources to meet daily living requirements of families who do not qualify for government assistance.

Opportunities	Auction Procurement Build our inventory of auction items through online and personal requests. Number of hours/month varies and can be adjusted according to volunteer availability. Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Event support, Indoor None, On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Auction Chair Event Planner The Auction Chair/Event Planner will help us with our Annual Casino Night and Auction. Their focus will be on obtaining auction items and entering them into the Silent Auction Pro database. Volunteer hours are at their own discretion, but will require about 3-5 hours a week from March through May, then the hours will increase as we get closer to the event. Help with vendors, décor and meeting sponsorship promises also needed. Weekly 55+, Adults Individuals Event support None Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Videographer We need a videographer to film videos of our kids and their family for social media. This position requires around 4 hours/month. Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Skilled Weekdays, Weekends Web Master Proficiency in WordPress to keep website updated with relevant photos, text and activities. 6 hours/month but varies up or down depending on need. Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Skilled Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Grantwriter Need out-of-the-box experienced grantwriter to help raise funds through grants. This position requires around 8 hours/month. Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Skilled Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Graphic Designer Provide graphic design skills for social media and marketing materials. Hours vary but average 4-5 hours/month. Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Skilled Weekdays Event Planner Lead efforts to improve our annual fundraising events and/or add smaller events. Number of hours/month varies and can be adjusted according to volunteer availability and timing of events. Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Event support None, On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Online Researcher The researcher will update the resources in our Resource Database with the services provided and contact information. Most is internet research, but may involve some phone calls. This volunteer position will be 5-10 hours a week at their own discretion. The Platform the information is being entered into is SharePoint. Weekly 55+, Adults Individuals Office work, Indoor On-site Weekdays, Weekends Admin Assistant Administrative duties to support CEO/Founder. Need quality writing, data input and computer skills including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Time commitment is around 6 hours/month. Weekly 55+, Adults Individuals Office work, Indoor On-site, Formal Weekdays Social Media Community Developer Help build care community members. This position requires around 12 hours/month. Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor None, On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends SharePoint Programmer Help with development of our resource database. Hours TBD based on volunteer availability. About us	Here to Serve provides assistance to families caring for a child in a life-or-death health crisis such as childhood cancer, transplants, critical conditions at birth, accidents, etc. Here to Serve envisions people inspired and mobilized to carry each other’s burdens during times of crisis, where guidance and assistance is offered freely as people and organizations collaborate to compassionately respond to those navigating life-threatening health crises. We seek to demystify the plethora of service organizations and to make them easily accessible, thereby easing the journey of those in medical crisis.
