How you helpBecome a Hoopbus Hero and help spread joy!
About usThe Hoopbus all begin on beach by the founders of Veniceball, at the courts many know as Hoopers Paradise, the home of west coast street ball. In some cities as many as two-thirds of children are without access to a nearby park. About 23% of middle schools and 40% of high schools do not offer intramural sports. Nearly one in three children and teens today are overweight or obese. Lack of physical activity contributes to the epidemic, and inactive children often become inactive adults. Racism and racialised inequalities significantly influence black and minority ethnic communities’ access, participation and experiences of sport. Hoopbus addresses all of these causes and more through the mobile Hoopbus and court renovation bringing play to the streets.
