Foster
Foster families enable us to pull animals from shelters who are at risk of being euthanized and provide them with a safe, temporary home as they await their new forever home. Foster families play a critical role in helping companion animals recover from sickness and injury, get a much-needed break from the distress of the shelter system, or simply receive a little extra care and attention.

How you help
Volunteers are vital to our success and we couldn’t carry out our essential work without their dedication and support. We welcome any commitment you are able to offer—however great or small.
About us
We work to address the pet population crisis and eliminate the needless suffering of companion animals. Our internal rescue group, The Heigl Hounds Of Hope, saves vulnerable dogs from high kill shelters in Southern California. To directly address the pet population crisis, we work to bring affordable and accessible spay/neuter surgery, vaccination and microchipping services to companion animals in low-income areas across the U.S. We offer financial support to qualified partner organizations around the country, such as humane societies, rescue organizations, no kill shelters and advocacy groups.
