Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles is a multi-service Agency whose goals are to strengthen and preserve individual, family and community life by providing a wide range of needed human services to people in the community at every stage of the life cycle, especially those who are poor and disadvantaged.
Located in the Pico-Robertson neighborhood and Valley areas. Volunteers pack groceries, stock shelves, help with intake, or assist at the resource center. There are also volunteer opportunities to create centerpieces (Baskets of Hope) or assist with home delivery of food bags.

Senior Nutrition Program
Dining sites are located at multiple locations throughout the City and Valley. Volunteers greet guests, serve meals, and provide light clean up.

JFS Hope (formerly Family Violence Project)
Located in the San Fernando Valley. Volunteers help at one of two domestic violence shelters, assisting with: child activities, grocery shopping, answering our “information” hot line and participating in special activities. Family Violence Project volunteers require a special training that JFS provides and is mandated by the State of California.
