About us | L.A. Works is a nonprofit volunteer action center that creates, manages and implements hands-on community service projects throughout the greater Los Angeles area. L.A. Works empowers Angelenos to address pressing social issues through volunteerism and community collaborations. Our projects cover a wide range of activities and issue areas including serving meals to the homeless, providing fun activities to disadvantaged youth, walking dogs, preserving national parks, cooking for kids, playing bingo with the elderly and shelving and packaging food to be donated. |
