Food Scraps Collection

Be amongst the hustle and bustle of a farmers' market while connecting with community members dropping off their food scraps. You'll be monitoring for contamination of non-compostable materials, assisting with logging drop-off metrics, and generally being a welcoming compost host! You'll be stationed at the LA Compost booth under a pop-up canopy within the farmers' market. There will also be seating available. No prior composting experience is necessary. This volunteer activity is best suited for volunteers aged 16 and up. Occurs at various locations.

This volunteer activity is best suited for volunteers aged 16 and up. Minors under the age of 16 should come accompanied by a parent or guardian unless other arrangements are made.
