Our mission

Healing California provides free, quality dental, medical and vision care to those in need in California.
Opportunities

Medical Volunteers

Medical professionals are given volunteer assignments in our triage station. You will be taking patient histories, vitals and making sure our patients are healthy enough to receive Healing California’s dental and vision care services. Registered Nurses, LVN’s, EMT’s and other medical professionals are needed in our triage stations.

Dental Volunteers

Our dental section aims to take patients out of pain, remove infection and put patients on the path to better oral health. We provide the tools, supplies and personal protective equipment so all you need to do is show up to provide life changing care. We offer cleanings, fillings and extractions to our patients. Professionals Only.

General Volunteers

You don’t need to be a trained professional to be a vital part of the Healing California volunteer team. There are a variety of tasks that general volunteers can help out with at a clinic.

Vision Volunteers

Our vision services include providing comprehensive eye exams and glasses fabrication on-site, so patients receive their glasses as quickly and easily as possible. Our finishing equipment produces custom single vision glasses on-site, and we have an on-going partnership with the Essilor Vision Foundation to make any glasses that we cannot produce on-site with our equipment.
