Our mission	My Friend’s Place assists and inspires homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives.

Opportunities	Assemble Snack Packs for Youth Experiencing Homelessness Provide youth with food in easy to-go bags and help to promote connection. Include non perishable food items like trail mix, granola bars, cookies, chips, fruit snacks, water bottle/juice, etc. Decorate the bags and/or include brief notes of encouragement Snack packs can be assembled on your own time and are a great project to work on with children. The completed packs can be dropped off at My Friend’s Place by appointment only. Please email [email protected] for details on snack pack assembly and to schedule an appointment to drop off. We ask that all clothing donations be new or gently used and laundered. Due to space limitations, we are not able to accept furniture, home goods, sports equipment, or other items not listed above. If you have something to donate that you do not see on our list, please contact us first. Thank you for understanding. Drop Off Instructions Donations are accepted by appointment only. Item Collection Wishlist – Amazon, etc Clothing Drive for Youth Experiencing Homelessness Host a clothing drive for new and gently used adult-sized masculine and feminine clothing and shoes. Provide youth with essential clothing and shoes, while perhaps doing a little Spring Cleaning at home You may purchase new clothing including socks and underwear from our Amazon wish list. If you would like to contribute gently used clothing, please adhere to these guidelines: You and those you live with must be symptom free for the past 7 days. Clothing must be laundered while wearing gloves and a mask and packaged in plastic bags (not cardboard or other boxes). Please label bags with the date the clothing was laundered and packaged and a description of the clothing (ex. jeans and t-shirts). If donating gently used shoes, please spray with Lysol or use disinfectant wipes. We are still not accepting used socks and underwear. About us	For more than 33 years, My Friend’s Place has been assisting and inspiring homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives. From our early beginnings as a volunteer-based group serving meals from the trunks of cars to the dynamic resource center in operation today, My Friend’s Place offers comprehensive services to nearly 1,400 youth experiencing homelessness between the ages of 12 and 25, and their children, each year, helping our homeless young people move toward wellness, stability and self-sufficiency.
