Be a member of a diverse, talented six-month cohort of storytellers from across the country committed to equity. You'll learn from each other, as well as from staff and other professionals. Available to young people between the ages of 18-29. 2-5 hours a week for six months.

Peer Health Educator
As a health educator, you will harness you passion for health and social change to hold candid conversations with high school peers in classrooms throughout your community. Our training program prepares you to facilitate engaging health workshops, holding space to exchange knowledge, skills, and resources with youth - because we're healthier together. Peer Health Exchange selectively recruits and rigorously trains near-peer health educators. PHE Health Educators (HEs) are college students from partner universities. Time commitment: 4-6 hours a week.

Video Testimonial Creator
Be part of an innovative network we're building to bring inclusive health information to young people everywhere. This is a paid, short-term opportunity. Create one or more videos sharing your lived experiences with mental or sexual health to promote belonging and agency in younger people. We'll coach you while you gain experience in digital storytelling, content creation, and more. Available to young people between the ages of 18-29. Time commitment of 4-10 hours total depending on how many testimonials you choose to create.

Peer Health Exchange Los Angeles launched its operations in 2009. For over 10 years, Peer Health Exchange Los Angeles has served more than 25,000 high school students and trained over 3,000 volunteer health educators. Today, Peer Health Exchange Los Angeles is serving thousands of young people across Greater Los Angeles in communities such as East LA, South LA, and the San Fernando Valley.
