Ways to help

The Music Center Symphonians are the volunteer docents of The Los Angeles Music Center and give free tours of The Music Center's four theatres and open spaces. Guests range from school children and local residents, to visitors from around the country and the world and The Music Center's own ticket holders or event attendees. In addition to touring responsibilities, members attend monthly meetings where artists and leaders from The Music Center Arts and The Music Center's resident companies share background information and their talents; optional social and special events; and opportunities to see Music Center performances.

How you help We are seeking dedicated volunteers, both women and men, to join our organization. If you love the arts and enjoy sharing this enthusiasm with the public, we invite you to join Symphonians. We are honored to represent one of the nation’s top cultural arts centers and enjoy sharing our knowledge with the people who visit The Music Center.
About us As L.A.’s performing arts destination, The Music Center is L.A.’s home to the world’s greatest artistic programs and events. With four iconic theaters and four renowned resident companies – Center Theatre Group, the LA Master Chorale, the LA Opera and the LA Philharmonic – and recognized for its illustrious dance programming, Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center, The Music Center is a destination where audiences find inspiration in the very best of live performance, as well as nationally recognized arts education and free and low-cost arts engagement experiences. The Music Center also programs and manages Grand Park, a 12-acre adjacent greenspace, with year-round free programming.
