Ways to help |
Long-Term VolunteerLong-term commitments include working with kids on a regular basis during Tinkering Club and camp. If you can commit to a regular schedule we can teach you how to use the tools and our pedagogy and then you can work with the kids.Sort DonationsreDiscover Center regularly get donations of discarded household, commercial, and industrial materials that have the potential to have a second life as "rediscovered" material for art and education. Those donations need to be sorted, cleaned, photographed, and shelved.Help Out SeasonallyA short term, occasional opportunity includes helping out our activities booth at local Farmers Markets and Festivals. |

How you help | We love volunteers and they are critical to our ability to reach so many kids and teach them to tinker. |

About us | A non-profit based in Culver City, California, reDiscover promotes creativity in early childhood and elementary education while encouraging environmental responsibility. reDiscover recycles everyday discards donated by business and gives them new purpose as hands-on learning materials. reDiscover is a community art center, reuse warehouse, gallery and event space. Using real tools and real materials, tinkerers solve design challenges, build kinetic sculptures, and learn crafting, fabrication, and resilience skills. |
