Roundhouse Interpretive Volunteer

Experience the inner-workings of an aquarium by becoming a Roundhouse Interpretive Volunteer! Our volunteers help us to create an inviting and educational atmosphere that connects our visitors directly with our oceans. Duties involve public interaction and interpretation of basic topics of marine biology and conservation. Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age.

About us Managed and operated by the nonprofit oceanic and environmental organization Oceanographic Teaching Stations, Inc. (OTS), the Roundhouse Aquarium educates and inspires more than 300,000 visitors every year. OTS’ programs at the Roundhouse Aquarium promote the study of the oceans, tidelands and beaches of Southern California through a wide slate of science-based and standards-aligned education programs with its immersive and engaging exhibits of a diverse array of marine life.
