Opportunities

Special Events Volunteer

Plan, promote, and execute school partner or community engagement events. Help with logistical, “day of” tasks like setting up and breaking down equipment or running registration. Engage local businesses and organizations to support events.

Sports League Support

Playworks individual volunteers play a crucial role in empowering youth to be kinder, active, and engaged learners. Our diverse volunteers span generations and backgrounds, but they all share a passion for helping kids discover their best selves.
About us

Playtime is kids’ time. But schools can and should create play environments that help kids be their best. Studies show that recess matters: a thoughtful approach to recess improves children’s physical health and social and emotional learning. Playworks helps schools and districts make the most of recess through on-site staffing, consultative support, professional development, free resources, and more.
