Ways to help | Canvassing for signatures for Assembly Bill We are looking for volunteers who can help with SAFE’s collaboration with Healthy Streets LA in their effort to get enough signatures for their ballot measure. This ballot measure would require that the city of LA must prioritize their Mobility Plan 2035 in traffic and road improvements that they are incredibly behind on. See full description VolunteerWe need volunteers to help promote and operate our special event, Finish The Run/Finish The Ride, on May 1st. They will be tasked with various duties such as: Pit Stops, Water Stations, Registration, Bike Valet, Merchandise, Finish Line Medals, Raffle Table (18+), Breakdown/cleanup, Breakdown (Day After), Ride Route Marker (Day Before), and Expo Setup (Day Before). |

SAFE improves the quality of life for pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers alike by reducing traffic-caused fatalities to zero. SAFE addresses the problem in a holistic fashion through direct education, broad awareness campaigns, partnerships, community outreach, policy and legislation, support for those impacted, and other proven strategies. |
