How you help
From single-day events like Finish the Ride to ongoing campaigns like Streets, Art, SAFE and SAFE Support, SAFE is more than just an organization. We’re a movement that relies on volunteers of all backgrounds and identities to create SAFE streets.
About us
Streets Are For Everyone (SAFE) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in January 2014. SAFE improves the quality of life for pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers alike by reducing traffic-caused fatalities to zero. SAFE addresses the problem in a holistic fashion through direct education, broad awareness campaigns, partnerships, community outreach, policy and legislation, support for those impacted, and other proven strategies.
Safety is a top priority. That's why we helped launch the #ZeroInOnSafety pledge. Join us in our commitment to make communities livable for everyone because #SafetyBelongsToAll.

Last weekend, I joined @StreetsR4Every1 and traffic safety advocates in a protest and "die-in" to call attention to the traffic violence that claimed the lives of 312 Angelenos, the most in more than 20 years.
