How you help
Volunteers are essential to helping us meet the needs of the survivors who seek our services.
About us
The agency was founded in 1979 by Petra Medelez, a survivor, who out of her own home answered crisis calls and housed victims and their children. Su Casa remains dedicated to Petra’s belief that “one right step leads to another,” therefore we have expanded her services to include not only immediate shelter from danger but also drop-in services, community education and awareness presentations, and transitional housing.
If you are a Federal Employee being impacted by the Government Shutdown and need assistance, please call Su Casa's hotline - 562-402-4888. We may be able to help directly or provide resources to help you and your family.
