Ways to help

Camp Volunteer

If you love to help others, make life-long friendships, and expand your horizons, then volunteer at Camp Laurel our HIV session (July 31-August 6), and Camp Mulberry (our transgender/gender diverse session) August 7-August 13!! Volunteers act as role models, mentors, friends, and a support system for these youth. Volunteers will get the opportunity to work directly with the kids at camp and get to participate in a variety of traditional camp activities (archery, arts & crafts, campfires, yoga, rock climbing, etc.).

How you help Our volunteers are the heart of The Laurel Foundation. Each year, over 200 volunteers donate approximately 13,500 hours to improve the lives of at-risk children, youth, and families who are living with HIV/AIDS, and transgender/gender diverse youth. Volunteers are truly the lifeblood of The Laurel Foundation. They are the change agents in the lives of the children, youth and families that we serve.
About us The Laurel Foundation serves children, youth and families affected by HIV/AIDS, transgender youth and other at-risk youth populations. The Laurel Foundation’s programs tackle the emotional and social challenges at-risk children and youth face by constructing environments that support the mental and physical welfare of the participants. Our programs give participants the tools to build self-sufficient, productive, healthy lives.
