We all need a little help sometimes and we’d be lying if we said that we could do what we want to do without YOU! If you’re asking yourself what you can do to help, the short answer is – a lot. We are always looking for people that share our passion to help in various ways.

The Makers Hub was established to address the lack of resources that underserved communities face. The city of Compton is home to approximately 96,803 people, 20.5% of whom live in poverty. We are actively addressing those resource inadequacies by working towards the establishment of a makerspace. In the 10-mile radius surrounding Compton there are currently no Makerspaces in existence. A makerspace is a place where people can come together to create, invent, build, and learn through hands-on use of traditional crafts, technology, or specialty trade set-ups.
