Our mission

The VA Long Beach Healthcare System provides for the health care needs of Veterans in the Southern California region.
Opportunities

Volunteer Van Drivers

Help pick-up outpatients receiving chemotherapy, dialysis, radiation therapy, and other outpatient appointments. To fill this role, you must have a current drivers license and automobile insurance and pass a physical exam.

Volunteers provide service to hospitalized veterans at the Long Beach Veteran’s Administration Hospital. Do non-medical tasks such as menu planning, shopping, letter writing, and delivering donated comfort items.

The VA Long Beach Healthcare System is proud to serve the veterans in Los Angeles and Orange County. Our Voluntary Service Office puts volunteers and donated resources together to help those veterans and you can be a part of that noble mission.
