Opportunities

Volunteers needed to update our database of food pantries and soup kitchens

Foodoasis.la is a website that has various food resources in Los Angeles. It was created by the volunteer organization, Hack for LA in 2016.

Over the past six months, we have been researching more locations to add to our database. Now we have over 2,000 free food resources in the county of Los Angeles.

We need your help updating the information. This means we need your help with internet research.

Additionally, we are collecting the information needed to connect food rescue organizations with food pantries and food banks.

Please join us on Saturday morning from 9 – 11am PST for a training session.
You are welcome to join us for a short period of time or work on your own after the session.
