About this event

The Center for Spiritual Development, a ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange believes that the values of the dignity of the person and inclusiveness are foundational to enlivening our mission so that “all may be one”. The current divisions in our communities compels us to partner with like-minded neighbors and organizations to respond to the Gospel imperative to work towards unity and reconciliation. It is with this mission in mind that we invite you to join us in supporting our schools’ efforts to bring a sense of unity among our communities by instilling the values of dignity and inclusiveness among our children.

Providing books that support conversations among students regarding race and racism serves as the first step to healing our divisions. Consider partnering with a local school and purchase a book or books for students to begin the conversation. A curated list will be provided.
