About this event

The operating hours of food pantries are changing frequently due to the impacts of COVID-19. There are over 50,000 food assistance sites across the country, and many are temporarily closed. This MLK weekend on Saturday, January 16 at 3pm ET, Repair the World and GetFoodUSA will be calling food pickup sites to confirm their info is up to date. Each volunteer will be given a script to follow! Your phone calls will help ensure that people in need of food go to the right place, at the right time.

Repair the World mobilizes Jews and their communities to take action to pursue a just world, igniting a lifelong commitment to service. We believe service in support of social change is vital to a flourishing Jewish community and an inspired Jewish life. By 2030, Repair will inspire and catalyze one million acts of service towards repairing the world.
