The Peninsula Friends of the Library proudly presents a virtual Literary Weekend featuring 6 award-winning authors.
FRIDAY, MARCH 19, 2021, 7:00 to 8:00 pm
Our Inaugural Literary Weekend will begin with all authors in a panel discussion on Friday Evening moderated by Patrick Stack.
SATURDAY, MARCH 20, 2021 (breakout sessions below)
10:00 to 11:00 am: Children’s author Mary Jo Hazard will discuss her new book Smile and Say Hi with Laura Henry on Saturday morning.
1:00 to 2:00 pm: Young Adult authors Emily Wibberley & Austin Siegemund-Broka will be interviewed by librarian Megan Durazo Saturday afternoon.
6:00 to 8:00 pm: Best-selling authors Mark Obmascik, The Storm on Our Shores and Natalie Baszile, We Are Each Other’s Harvest will discuss their books on Saturday evening. Local history librarian, Monique Sugimoto will talk with Mark and Deb Ripley will converse with Natalie. This is also the night to enjoy dinner for two from Misto or Truxton’s.
SUNDAY, MARCH 21, 2021 — 2:00 to 4:00 pm
Talks with Lifestyle authors Drs. Dean & Ayesha Sherazi and Tom Sullivan will take place Sunday afternoon. Marianne Propst, Director of the PV Peninsula Village, will be talking with Drs. Dean & Ayesha about their new book The 30-Day Alzheimer’s Solution (2:00 to 3:00 pm) and Allison DeFrees will talk with Tom Sullivan about his incredible and life altering book Seeing Lessons (3:00 to 4:00 pm).
