Volunteer Spotlight Kat

This #NationalVolunteerWeek we are honored to highlight our longtime supporter and board member, Kat! Kat started at CPAF as a Language Bank Volunteer back in 2008. A fluent Mandarin and Cantonese speaker, Kat translated documents and provided over-the-phone and in-person interpretation. As a survivor herself, Kat attended events, shared her story, and raised awareness about CPAF’s services. Kat reflects, “CPAF gave me the training on how to care for others whilst caring for me.” We are immensely grateful to Kat – for her courage, strength, and support. Thank you to all of our volunteers! We cannot create a safe and healthy community for everyone without you!
