Volunteers can help lead workshops and seminars for Tierra associates, participate in campus clean-up days, gather new art supplies for artists in Tierra’s Careers in the Arts program, set up and greet guests at special events (such as the golf tournament or tile workshops), and explore serving on Tierra’s Board of Directors.
We will need volunteers for our biggest event of the year, VisionFest – a screening and celebration of independent film. We need volunteers for setup/breakdown, ushering, serving, check-in and maintenance.
We will need volunteers to lead and assist with events and activities for international travelers at our hostel.
Co-actors are peer role models – participating alongside those with autism and other disabilities serving as a friend, classmate, and creative partner. Volunteers may take part in a variety of tasks such as setting up special events and greeting guests at events (e.g., gallery reception, golf tournament, tile workshop).
Collect, sort, and prepare items for sale, as well as supporting customers and maintaining a welcoming environment.
We will need volunteers for our annual artwalk as docents and throughout the year to help with fundraisers, artist events, artist relations, administrative support and research. Adults 18+ are needed to help on both one-time and occasional ongoing basis depending on our programming. Must be a people person. Art installers are always needed.
