Groups interested in trail work, invasive plant removal, or other service can contact us to set up an event of your own. We are always happy to help Scouts identify projects that can meet their requirements and leave a lasting positive impact in the community and out on the land.
Other ways to volunteer with AFC include becoming a trained field trip docent, Community Scientist, Friend of an AFC Preserve, Advisor, or just answering the call when we need help stuffing envelopes with our Annual Report.
Individuals can check our calendar and join one of our regularly scheduled restoration days on our Preserves. Volunteers assist by removing invasive plants, cleaning up trash, repairing trails for recreation. Regular events every weekend at various sites.
