Compost Hub Support volunteers can anticipate getting moderately dirty and sweaty, but loving every minute. You will enjoy chatting with your Compost Manager and fellow volunteers while turning a compost pile or bin. These events take place at our network of sites which include LA County’s most cherished green spaces including community gardens, urban farms, and parks. No prior composting experience is necessary. This volunteer activity is best suited for volunteers aged 16 and up. Minors under the age of 16 should come accompanied by a parent or guardian unless other arrangements are made. Occurs at various locations.
